Program Description & Use Cases
Collective Church Salem uses SMS messaging for the following purposes:
Transactional / Non-Marketing Messages
Service reminders, event notifications, schedule updates, meeting reminders, small group updates, prayer request follow-ups, and general church operational communications.
Marketing / Promotional Messages
Special announcements, community outreach campaigns, new series launches, event invitations, and general promotional updates about Collective Church Salem.
How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages by completing the contact form at collectivechurchsalem.com/contact and checking one or both of the optional SMS consent checkboxes. Separate checkboxes are provided for transactional messages and marketing messages. Providing your phone number alone does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your opt-in preferences and church activities. You may receive between 1–8 messages per month. We will not send excessive or unsolicited messages.
Message & Data Rate Disclosure
Message and data rates may apply. Collective Church Salem does not charge for SMS messages; however, your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging and data rates. Please contact your mobile carrier for details about your specific plan.
How to Opt Out
You may cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from Collective Church Salem. After sending STOP, you will receive a final confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To re-subscribe, complete the opt-in process again on our Contact page.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Collective Church Salem is not responsible for any delays, failures, or errors in the transmission or receipt of SMS messages. Service availability may vary by carrier and location.
Age Requirement
You must be 18 years of age or older to opt in to receive SMS messages from Collective Church Salem. By providing your phone number and checking the consent box, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to consent to receive text messages at the number provided.
